survive，基本含义是“生存”，在翻译文件的过程中，我总结了其在法律文件中的以下2种含义，并且都有对应的例句在后面供大家参考。其在法律英语中最常使用的两层意思为：
（1）A比B活得长，法律文件中译为“B先于A死亡”；
（2）仍然有效，比如：本合同终止之后，合同某条款仍然有效。
1、If the Donor’s said husband shall survive the Donor,the trustees shall set apart as a separate trust fund, to be known as the“Marital Trust”, the smallest fractional share of the trust property which shall be needed to eliminate (or reduce to the lowest extent possible) any estate taxes with respect to the Donor’s estate.
