CP3 is in that group of hall of fame point guards who were positive players basically until they can't run up and down the court without getting hurt. Stockton, Kidd, Nash, Gary Payton are the main one. Most of them get to about 35 before their bodies start to give out completely.

Simmons is a prime candidate for this, and the Sixers in general, simply because Boston provided such a clear blue print for how to defend Philly and Simmons in particular. If Simmons sees a lot of that kind of coverage this season it's gonna be much harder for him to score since he still can't shoot.

The only thing that suffered with Rondo off the court was Jrue's 3P%.
He averaged more points, rebounds, assists, steals per 100 possessions, and had a higher +/- with Rondo off the court than with Rondo on.
And he played 250 more minutes without Rondo than with him.
EDIT: And the lower 3P% was kind of counteracted by a higher FT%. 57.6% TS with Rondo on, 56.5 with Rondo off.
